The members of the Dante Consulting management team are all seasoned technology veterans. Known for the strength of its client relationships, Dante has earned an enviable reputation for delivering on its commitments and achieving predictable success.

Pierre Malko, President and CEO, Co-founder

Before co-founding Dante in 1998, Pierre spent over a decade building enterprise system software for major telecommunications providers, including Sprint, Bell Atlantic, and MCI. His experience dealing with inflexible systems in the face of a constantly changing telecommunications industry led to Dante's unique mission of providing adaptive solutions that evolve with changing market needs.

Pierre served as Director of Order Processing Systems at Bell Atlantic (now Verizon), where he led the development and integration of all strategic order processing and customer care applications under a corporate initiative to replace all customer care and billing systems. He was responsible for the successful implementation of Order Entry, Product Management, Order Management, Account Management, Bill Inquiry and Adjustment, and Custom Billing Arrangements applications.

Prior to his work at Bell Atlantic, Pierre led the development of strategic re-engineering efforts for Customer Care and Order Entry at Sprint. He also provided strategy consulting services to MCI in the implementation of an enterprise product management solution.

Pierre is a graduate of the University of Texas with degrees in Computer Science and Economics.

Daniel Businger, Vice President and COO, Co-founder

Dan brings to Dante more than 18 years of leadership experience in both IT consulting and telecommunication software development. Before co-founding Dante, Dan served as Director of Customer Care Systems at Bell Atlantic (now Verizon). He was responsible for numerous releases of a large-scale, object-oriented customer care system, as well as the delivery of major components of the system, including the product manager application and proprietary middleware messaging.

Prior to his work at Bell Atlantic, Dan initiated some of Sprint's first-ever distributed technology projects to solve business problems in network management and customer care. Dan developed extensive knowledge of the IT consulting industry at EDS, where he first developed, then managed, software solutions for the financial services industry.

Dan is a graduate of Rhode Island College with a degree in Computer Science.

Mohan Rao, Vice President

Mohan has over sixteen years experience in leading, managing, designing and developing complex systems to solve high impact business problems. Prior to joining Dante, Mohan was VP and CTO at Career Rewards, Inc., where he was responsible for product and technology development. Additionally, he acted as the CEO through the acquisition phase of the company.

Prior to that, Mohan worked for ComSpace Development, a venture capital and advisory services firm, where he conducted due-diligence of prospective investments and assisted with the management of portfolio firms. Before ComSpace, Mohan served as a Management Consultant with Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group in the Telecom and Financial Services practices. He was also with Verizon, where he worked in various R&D roles in the broadband and multimedia communications and process improvement technology laboratories.

Mohan has an M.B.A. from Pace University, New York, an M.S. in Computer Science from University of Bridgeport, Connecticut and a B.E. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mysore University, India.

Chol Kong, Vice President

Chol has over 16 years of experience in business development, operations management and strategic planning, including over 10 years of experience supporting the federal government.

Prior to joining Dante Consulting, he was the Director of Business Development for Superlative Technologies, Inc. dba SuprTEK.  While at SuprTEK, he helped grow new business revenues by over 50%, specifically in the classified and information assurance arena.

Prior to joining SuprTEK, Mr. Kong was the Director of Business Development for Xpedior, where he was responsible for the management of Xpedior’s formal partnerships.  In that role, he was responsible for managing and driving sales to and from the partnership channel. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Operations for Xpanse Inc., where he oversaw daily operations and strategic planning.

Mr. Kong is a graduate of Virginia Tech, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science.
